prioritising the immediate site context, the mangrove wildlife observation unit was to create a relationship and link context with design, demonstrating design intentions, user and context, thus showcasing proper applications of principles, materiality and basic constructability in order to create a memorable spatial experience.

playing with scale, I aimed to make a structure that humbled the human ego, evoking the sense of being a mere insect, cradled in the warm comfort of a giant leaf, and weaving the structure within the pattern of the trees, assimilating the structure within the site.
